Great Outdoors Day

The Great Outdoors Day is an annual event in Osceola County to encourage healthy and active outdoor fun for individuals and families. The City of St. Cloud Lakefront Park will be the location for this highly attended event where interactive and educational experiences will be offered for children, families and individuals. The goal of the Great Outdoors Day is multifaceted and includes raising awareness of natural resources, introduce local nature inspired attractions and to ultimately inspire participants to be responsible stewards of the environment by making environmentally conscious decisions. Fundamentally, this event aims at teaching participants that their actions today can help preserve the environment for generations to come. It also aims to motivate individuals to get outside and enjoy the work around them, whether it’s simply by taking a walk and enjoying the plethora nature has to offer, exercising outdoors, taking part in local nature conservation efforts or volunteering in the many community agencies.
